    Lately I’ve been thinking about this because a small tool at work started using an AI feature to sort support tickets. First day it looked fine, then suddenly replies started coming out weirdly slow even though the answers were mostly correct. It made me wonder: if you had to deploy an AI feature tomorrow, what would you actually watch first — accuracy, latency, reliability, or something else entirely?

    Somewhere along the way AI features stopped feeling like experimental tools and started appearing quietly inside everyday apps. A few years ago people mostly talked about models and datasets, now conversations seem to drift toward uptime, response time, and how systems behave once real users start clicking around. It’s interesting how the focus shifts once things move from demos into actual products.

    From my side, latency would probably be the first thing I’d keep an eye on, mostly because users notice delays before they notice small mistakes. We had a prototype chatbot once that answered questions correctly maybe 85–90% of the time, but when responses took 5–6 seconds people instantly assumed the system was broken. Funny enough, I later read a breakdown here: https://pitchwall.co/blog/artificial-intelligence-services-development-how-to-build-ai-that-works-in-production and it described a similar issue with real deployments — the tech can be solid, but the surrounding infrastructure and monitoring end up being just as important as the model itself. That matched pretty closely with what we experienced in practice.

    Guten Abend, ich spare schon eine Weile auf ein neues Smartphone, aber es ging einfach nicht voran. Ein Arbeitskollege hat mir royals tiger empfohlen, also hab ichs ausprobiert. Hab mich an einen Slot mit Cluster-Pays-Mechanik gesetzt und nach ein paar verlorenen Runden mehr riskiert – plötzlich kam ein richtig fetter Multiplikator.
