I’ve always known escrow as a service handled by a third party, but blockchain-based escrow seems completely different. Instead of people managing the process, everything is handled automatically. This makes it more transparent and possibly faster. Still, I’m not sure how easy it is to use for someone without experience. It feels like a big shift from traditional systems. I’d like to know if it’s practical for everyday use. What’s your experience with it?

Blockchain escrow differs from traditional escrow mainly in how trust is handled. Instead of relying on a central authority, smart contracts or decentralized mechanisms manage the process. However, this also means users need to understand how these systems work to avoid mistakes. Governance plays a big role in resolving disputes and ensuring fairness. Exploring discussions on daoforum can help clarify how decentralized escrow systems are designed and improved over time.
