Do private Instagram viewers actually store content for later viewing?

I’ve been researching private Instagram viewer tools for a different
reason than most people, I think. I’m not necessarily trying to view a
profile right this second — what I actually need is a way to access
content that might get deleted or changed before I have a chance to see
it properly. Someone I used to know has a private account and there’s
been some drama around posts they’ve made that other people have
mentioned to me, but by the time I find out about anything it’s usually
already gone. I started looking into whether any of these viewer
platforms actually save content to a personal dashboard rather than just
showing it once and moving on. Most tools I’ve come across either don’t
deliver anything at all (the survey loop situation that I’m sure
everyone here is familiar with) or only show real-time content with no
storage. Does anyone have experience with a platform that keeps a proper
history of what’s been captured, even if the original posts get deleted
    from the profile afterward?

Been skeptical about private Instagram viewer tools for a long time because most of them turned out to be scams asking for verification that never actually led anywhere. Finally found a resource that cut through all the noise at check this out — it explained what legitimate private viewers without verification look like versus the ones that just waste your time. The breakdown was genuinely useful and pointed me toward an approach that worked on the first try. No account required, no surveys, no personal data handed over. Wish I had found this explanation months ago before wasting time on the fake ones.
