Mounting heavy screens on drywall
Getting a large display up on the wall sounds easy until you run a stud finder and discover metal framing, awkward spacing, or concrete behind the drywall. If you use the wrong anchors or try to hide wires without checking building fire codes, you risk damaging your walls or having the bracket pull loose. Has anyone found a reliable way to get a clean setup with concealed cables without tearing up half the wall?

Metal studs in newer buildings can make hanging a heavy screen feel a lot riskier than it should be. That sounds like a good solution, especially with metal studs or concrete walls. Having the mount properly anchored and the cables neatly concealed definitely makes the setup much cleaner.
