The most beautiful view of my life was from the summit of the Matterhorn. The most terrifying moment came three hours later, when a rock the size of a refrigerator broke loose above me and clipped my shoulder, spinning me off balance. I arrested my fall with my ice axe, but my shoulder was clearly dislocated, and I couldn’t pull myself back up. My guide called for a rescue, but the helicopter couldn’t land on the ridge. A Swiss mountain guide team climbed up to me, stabilized my shoulder, and lowered me in a harness for 500 meters to a point where the helicopter could winch me up. The hospital in Zermatt reset the joint and found a hairline fracture in my scapula. The total bill – helicopter, two rescue teams, surgery, five nights in hospital – was 62,000 Swiss francs. I handed them my Sport Travelling travel insurance mountaineering card. The admissions clerk made one call, then smiled and said, ‘You are fully covered, including your hotel for the recovery week.’ I walked out without paying a franc. That is the difference between a disaster and an adventure.

I stumbled upon a discussion thread while browsing for new gaming options for players in Canada. Someone suggested casino luxury as a reliable spot. After signing up, I noticed the loading speeds were excellent, which kept the flow of my play smooth. It turned out to be a solid choice for spending a rainy Tuesday evening, and the experience was much better than I initially expected.
