My PC just shut off yesterday while I was using it. No warning, nothing. Turned it back on and Windows started saying it’s not activated. Didn’t reset it, didn’t reinstall anything. It only showed up after that. The PC isn’t old and this never happened before. Not sure really what to make of it.

Sudden shutdowns can mess with Windows activation. I remember at university during a computer science class the power went out and all the PCs shut off at once. After we turned them back on, one computer suddenly showed Windows not activated. The teacher said it can happen after crashes. One classmate suggested trying kms activator we did it after class and the activation message was gone.
